Installing the CR2 Battery

Insert the CR2 battery into the Black X device, matching the positive (+) and negative (-) ends with the symbols indicated. A beep sound will confirm that the device is operational.

Install the USB-C WIFI bridge to enable remote access features.
Click app menu and select bridges to add WiFi bridge.
Add displayed bridge.
Enter your WiFi details
Lock or Unlock using bridge within Black app.

How to create your account and profile:

Download the app from the App store or Google Play.

Open the app and tap ‘Create Black ID’.
Follow the prompts to create your account and profile. Important: When registering your Black X account, provide a phone number and email address capable of receiving text messages and emails, respectively.
Enter 2-step verification code.
Enter your email and password.
Your Black X account is now activated and ready to be paired to your lock(s).
